I'm afraid that somehow, we may misdirect people actually beginners. Our answers deal with advanced technical points which should really be discussed later for a beginner. To push them too fast for leaving the camera automation, we make the mistake they may not understand concepts as capital as aperture, shutter speed, exposure, or even the role of the composition.
To guide and share with the most interested about photography and the post-processing it implies, I developed my own Before|After processing comparison feature. Simply move around the mouse cursor over my photos! If the raw image, without adjustments, is available, the comparison will be activated automatically. I hope to educate more people about this process inherent to photography.

The jury has selected my Grey-headed Flying-foxe photography taken in Australia. This bat belongs to "Megabat" family and regularly flies in the sunday, even if it sits more likely in the shade of foliage. With over 22.300 unique views, it changes from Flickr ^^.
