Mid of afternoon at Manly with a terrific light and such a beautiful bay… I focused my adjustments by working on the complementary tones present at this moment (orange light and grey/blue sky) and I also worked on the sea surface: the light catch was pretty interesting.

This was a very nice moment, just after some rain, the light was coming out again giving us beautiful reflexions and feelings. Anyway, I've to admit this picture have been a pain to post-process because of a so important contrast between highlights and shadows! Take a look to the non-processed one to get an idea…

Photography speaking, I don't like this picture. The ambient light was so awful that even after adjustments, the photo is still dull and boring. Anyway, I decided to share it with you because I found the contrast between old and new building pretty interesting and representative of Sydney.
